Recorded in two days in the dead of winter 2018, this album offers some of the best-loved music in our songbook. We reimagined and refined these songs over time during our weekly residency at Oakland's Room 389, allowing them to organically evolve into tangled and ambitious creations. Friends from our community joined us at Bird and Egg Studios in Richmond, CA to lend a musical hand. As a result, some songs include the sparkling presence of percussion, upright bass, woodwinds, musical saw, along with a second accordion.
